Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin stars vampire hunter Jonathan Morris and Charlotte Orlean, a young girl with powerful magical abilities, as they battle forces of evil that are attempting to rebuild Dracula's castle and resurrect the bloodsucker.

Adopting the familiar side-scrolling 2D graphical style for which Castlevania is famed, Portrait of Ruin introduces new touch screen elements and character switching gameplay for a breathtaking blend of classic playability and new features exclusive to Nintendo DS.

By playing via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, you can set up your own store and trade items with players around the world, to earn gold or lay your hands on the most sought-after weapons. Additionally, you'll be able to team up with another player and take on the challenge of the Boss Rush Mode together!
